I assure you that I know what I am talking about.

Pokémon

• The Early Generations Really Were Better - Not subjective at all. With the exception of X&Y, the brilliance of the series almost entirely existed in 2D. The older games were weirder, more imaginative, and more atmospheric despite (or maybe in spite of) their presentation. Each gen's artstyle also had its own unique identity, which we don't really get with the 3D models anymore.
• The Series Should Have Remained Handheld - We don't have a dedicated handheld console this generation, but that just means that we shouldn't have gotten any mainline Pokémon games; the only one that I would enthusiastically call fun (Legends: Arceus) was not a mainline title. The games weren't all bad, mostly just lackluster, but series outlook is depressing and the fandom has been insufferable.
• Several more 'Mons Should be Female-Only - Especially Gardevoir and Milotic. Cool male-only Pokémon are grossly overrepresented. I'd also stand for those changed to be able to be either gender; but the ratios of almost all Pokémon with a gender population difference should be changed to 50/50. It's outdated (placed to create false rarity and make breeding more difficult) and invites very stupid online discourse; repeated, unoriginal jokes; and sexist theories and speculations.

Sailor Moon

• The 90s Dub is Good, Actually - There are absolutely...weak points (many of which are shared by the original but because most English language viewers can't understand Japanese, they don't notice), and the censorship was largely unnecessary, but the name choices were actually very cute and clever. Even Serena's almost universally panned voice(s) are actually pretty true to her original character.
• Perverted Men Nearly Ruined the Anime - On the flip side, while the anime is a great expansion on a lot of characters, you can see where gross and predatory things were added and by whom. The girls are very often involved with adult men, a ton of creepshots of them are added, and romance is very often prioritized over friendship which devalues the entire message of the franchise. Mamoru is even aged up, and Helios prefers Chibiusa as a little girl. Yuck!

Zelda

• Breath of the Wild is a Middle-of-the-Road Title - That is to say, still an incredible game. My least favorite title is Wind Waker (well, before the below came out...) and it's a masterpiece. I only mean to say that while the gameplay is thrilling, the story is mostly unsatisfying.
• Tears of the Kingdom is Awful - Shameless and lazy moneygrab that was actively worse than its predecessor. I did have some fun but it was really disappointing and the hype is undeserved.
• Revali Haters are Fragile Babies - This extends to most characters like him, but so many people have gotten used to media that coddles the MC that they can't handle characters that do not - even though many casts would be boring and unfulfilling without them.

Silent Hill

• Fans are Certifiably Insane - If this page isn't enough to provide a shining example, look no further than a certain Walter Sullivan meltdown. We are full on schizo and there's no way around it.
• ...Some Fans Try Way too Hard to Seem Certifiably Insane to Fit In/Compete - don't @ me. I can have it both ways - In fact, I do and I don't even want it.
• Only Worthwhile Game After 4 is the Remake of 2 - Yes, I played them. There are some good things about them but they just could not compare. It's actually been the default take until recently. I was a Remake naysayer myself before the game released but they did a good job. Not perfect, not even close, but good.
• Silent Hill 4: The Room is Good, Actually - Not sure why better takes other than '4 sucks' have been considered trite but this one largely persists but it was always good and still is.
• In Water is Silent Hill 2's True Ending - This used to be the consensus but has come under fire in recent years; I don't know if it's contrarianism, the degrading ability of audiences to be challenged, the dev's cowardice in renouncing what was once agiven (along with Pyramid Head's doll hobby), or what (you can never know with this fanbase) but this has and always will be the most fitting ending and the only one where "certain people" can possibly have any redemption at all.
• I'm GLAD PT never Panned Out and Kojima Would Have Messed Everything Up - LOOK! LOOK. I love Metal Gear Solid, I married a man that looks like Snake Plissken, okay? But Kojima's particular brand of autism is NOT right for Silent Hill and neither is Norman Reedus' ugly face. Keep that in Death Stranding where I only have to look at it if my husband is playing. The trailer was fun, a very strong trailer, but was not Silent Hill. Also, why add an S? Shut up!

Danganronpa

• The Fan Girls are Pick Mes - Tearing down the girls but insisting that boys who did far worse just need to transition or sleep with a man. Oh, and when they draw the cast in their Tumblr artstyles they always leave the twinky boys the same but draw the girls fat, acne ridden, and otherwise ugly. Like children who draw unflattering doodles of people they hate, but with a sanctimonious tint. The sapphic audiences seem to be the only one with a balanced viewpoint among them. Thankfully these kind of gals mostly stick to tumblr where I can easily block them and character/ship tags I don't like.
• The Fan Boys are Fragile - See above...and below; so many characters that dared to not 100% serve the milquetoast MC-kuns are panned because these kind of boys can't handle it. Meanwhile those characters were what made the story interesting - if not possible in the first place. The only value they see in characters is how much they relate to them, personally and/or how attractive that they find them. That said, I am a kindred spirit with The Sayaka Guy and plenty of guys DO value the more antagonistic cast, but entire swaths of the fandom are invaded by these pests.

Fandom General

• Isekai and Shonen Romance is Ruining Everything - Brain dead and misogynistic, pretty much universally. Has turned countless fanboys into entitled babies who can't stand to be challenged by media or characters. Watch Chainsaw Man, plebs! Still horny but actually has substance.
• Streaming/Let's Plays are Ruining Everything Else - It's not a valid way to experience a game for the first time for either party, not sorry.
• VTubers Are Stupid - My thoughts here are too radical for almost anyone, but I will stand by this and embrace those who feel the same.
• Pedro Pascal is an Uggo - I hated him before conservative men did, okay? Really, this goes for any old, ugly famous male actor. Most are there to serve the psy op that shriveled old goats deserve hot, young women and that said women shouldn't have standards. It works, too! Crazy.
